
Riprap is large mixed-size rock used for
streambank reinforcement, outfalls, and lining
slopes. Riprap is graded by the size of the
largest 20 percent of the rock. For example,
the largest 20% of class 100 will weigh an
average of 80 to 100 pounds. Riprap will
contain all sizes if rock down to fines.

We grade our riprap according to the 1991
Oregon Standard Specifications for Highway
