Protecting the environment is a continuing challenge. Dalton Quarry is located alongside a major stream in in one of the wettest areas in the continental United States. Minimizing the movement of sediment into Rickreall Creek, and, ultimately, the Willamette River, is a continuing challenge. These photos highlight some of Jock Dalton's innovative environmental protection efforts.
